Day 1. Wednesday, August 14th: Nairobi
Upon arrival at Nairobi International Airport, you will be met by our customer care representative/city guide who will greet you and transfer you to the Eka Hotel for check in and your overnight stay.
Situated 160 km south of the equator, Nairobi is the capital of Kenya and boasts one of the finest climates in the world. This modern, cosmopolitan city is the regional headquarters for many African and Indian Ocean businesses.

Day 2. Thursday, August 15th: Nairobi – Masai Mara National Game Reserve
7:00 am. After your breakfast, you will depart for the Masai Mara National Game Reserve with a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley view point. You will then proceed with the drive to arrive in time check in and lunch at the Ashnil Mara Game Camp.
You will then spend the afternoon at leisure before going for an evening game drive till dusk when you return to your camp for dinner and overnight stay.
The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savannah- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures.

Day 3. Friday, August 16th: Masai Mara National Game Reserve
You will have two more days of wildlife-viewing opportunities in the Masai Mara Reserve, also known as the “Jewel of Africa,” a site with one of the largest and the most spectacular animal migrations in the world. The reserve is inhabited by many of Africa’s most popular wild animals, including lion, cheetah, elephant, leopard, black rhino and hippo. There are also over 500 resident species of birds in the park including ostrich, larks and sunbirds as well as the lovely Lilac-breasted Roller.

Day 4. Saturday, August 17th: Masai Mara National Game Reserve
On one of the days, you will visit a local Masai village where you will be able to interact and learn about the colorful culture of this nomadic pastoralist community. Another activity that you can consider at an extra cost will be the hot air balloon safari. The balloon package includes a champagne breakfast in the wild! If you can spare the money, viewing abundant game afloat a balloon is an unforgettable experience.

Day 5. Sunday, August 18th: Masai Mara National Game Reserve – Amboseli National Park
Wake up at sunrise for your last early morning game drive and a visit to the hippo pool where you will have your breakfast. who knows, you may even see some wildlife that you hadn’t seen before. Return to your camp for an early lunch then collect your bags and transfer with a game drive enroute to the airstrip for your domestic flight to Amboseli National Park. Upon arrival in Amboseli, you will be met by another guide who will transfer with an afternoon game drive enroute to the Ol Tukai Lodge for check in, and overnight stay.

Ol Tukai Lodge is one of the best spots in the world to watch elephant with the backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro. Today, you will spend the whole day in Amboseli National Park with both morning and evening game drives. In between, you will have the chance to partake in an optional visit to a local Masai village that will enable you get the chance to interact and learn about the colorful culture of this nomadic community.
Amboseli sits on the lower slopes of mighty Mount Kilimanjaro – Africa’s highest mountain – whose peak lies across the border in Tanzania. It is quite an experience to see Kilimanjaro hovering above the clouds in an early morning. The animal pictures arising against the dramatic backdrop of the mountain will thrill any photography enthusiast. Amboseli is renowned for its huge elephant herds. You will also see buffalo, black rhino, zebra, wildebeest and many other animals.

Day 5: Tuesday, August 20th: Amboseli National Park to Arusha
6:00 am. You will have an early morning game drive until around 8:00 am , before returning to your lodge for breakfast. You will then depart to Namanga, the eastern Kenya/Tanzania border town where after the cross-border formalities, you will proceed with the drive to Arusha town where you will arrive in time for check in and lunch.

Our professional guides are there to assist you every step of the way. Even though there is a general outline of your safari, your guide will talk with you regarding each day’s plans. He will tell you about Tanzania, its history, traditions, the area you are visiting, what you see; he will take you to the loveliest places, look after any formalities and ensure your safety and comfort. All guides are proficient in bush craft, and can also tell you about the local traditions, wildlife, identify the birds, and help you learn more about the world around you. All our guides speak English as well as their local language.
Days will vary depending on your specific schedule and road conditions.
A typical day may unfold like this: You will get up before dawn when hot coffee and tea are served. The air is cold as the sun rises and shimmers on the open plains. This is the best time to see the wildlife. Your camera is ready to go and you have layered your clothing to keep you warm. Head into the bush and search for lions, elephant, giraffe and other game. Each turn will offer something unique – a lioness and her cubs, a herd of elephant moving to a waterhole, a cheetah stalking a gazelle. Your morning game drive lasts about two hours, depending on what you see. Return to the lodge for a delicious breakfast.
After breakfast there is time to relax from being up at sunrise or if you prefer to participate in any additional activities that the lodge may offer – such as walks, village visits, or bike rides.
Lunch is usually served in the camps/lodges, unless you are out for a full day’s game drive, in which case you will have a picnic lunch. You will head out again in the afternoon; searching for the special species that may have eluded you. As the sun sets, return to camp for a hot shower. Then indulge in a delicious dinner and after dinner drinks in the lounge. There may also be a chance to sit around the campfire exchanging tales of the bush. Everyone retires early with great anticipation of the next day’s adventure!
When you are out on safari your schedule is flexible at most locations; however, some locations have set times for game drives or walks. The restriction will be to stay within park rules and travel times required to get you to your destination. Your guides will always give their recommendations but are there to listen to your needs.

Welcome to Tanzania! On arrival at the Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our representative and be transferred to Arusha for your overnight stay at the Four Points By Sheraton Hotel, Arusha.
Arusha, the gateway to the world-famous game sanctuaries of Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire and Lake Manyara, is one of the oldest towns in Tanzania. From a tiny German garrison in 1900, Arusha has grown to become the tourist capital of Tanzania with a population of about 400,000 people. At 1,540 metres above sea level, Arusha enjoys a very agreeable climate throughout the year. Positioned at the centre of Africa between the Cape and Cairo on the Great North Road, Arusha is the administrative seat of the East African Community made up of Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda.

Wednesday, August 21st: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After your breakfast and a brief overview of your safari, you will depart for the Tarangire National Park to arrive in time for check in and lunch at the Tarangire Sopa Lodge. You will then spend the afternoon at leisure before going for an evening game drive till dusk when you return to your lodge. The next day, you have a full day game drive.
Built to blend in with the vastness of its surroundings, Tarangire Sopa Lodge lies hidden among the kopjes, ancient baobab and grasses of the Tarangire National Park – home to the greatest concentration of elephants in Africa. Many can be seen around the lodge, allowing visitors a close encounter. The circular guest suites with their high, conical roofs fan out to either side of the public areas, it is worth mentioning a word of caution here. Because the lodge is not fenced in any way, wild animals are at liberty to come and go as they please and transits to your room and back might be – but rarely – delayed by an elephant or two. This is the only reason the guards will insist on taking you to and fro at night.

Tarangire Sopa Lodge lies hidden among the kopjes, ancient baobab and grasses of the Tarangire National Park - home to the greatest concentration of elephants in Africa. Many can be seen around the lodge, allowing visitors a close encounter. Built on different levels, the main public area building offers an extremely cool respite from the outdoor heat as soon as you step into the reception. With a perfumed towel and a chilled welcome drink in hand, you suddenly become aware of the sheer size of the lobby with its glistening marble floors, colourful hand-woven carpets, and an incredibly high roof. From here a short flight of steps takes you up a level and into the lounge and bar with floor to ceiling windows, an outdoor terrace where you can enjoy an evening sundowner and, later perhaps, a game of pool in the area behind the bar. If you relish the great outdoors, the restaurant has a terrace running along one side of its entire length so you can enjoy your breakfast with a view over the park’s tree-studded, grassy plains.

Thursday, August 22nd: Tarangire National Park
Today you will have breakfast then head out for a full day game drive in the Tarangire National Park, including a packed picnic lunch. Enjoy your last night in the Tarangire area. You also have the option of coming back to your lodge to have a hot lunch instead, then later head back out for an evening game drive.
Tarangire is a park of giant baobab trees, rolling savannah and acacia parkland. Home of the rare tree-climbing pythons, this park offers the best accommodation during the dry season. Due to the existence of the Tarangire River, thousands of animals make their way to this park in search of water. It is in this 2,850 sq. Km park that you are very likely to encounter Lions, Leopards, Zebras, Buffaloes, Wildebeest among others. And just like many parks in Tanzania, this one also has an abundant array of 550 or more species of birds setting the stage to an incredible bird watching experience.

Friday, August 23rd: Tarangire Nat. Park - Lake Manyara National Park – Ngorongoro Nat. Conservation Area
Tucked below the majesty of the Rift Valley wall, Lake Manyara National Park consists of a thin green band of forest, flanked by the sheer 600 m high red and brown cliffs of the escarpment on one side and by the white-hot shores of an ancient soda lake on the other. Acacia woodland shelters the park’s famous tree climbing lions, lying languidly among the branches in the heat of the day. Lake Manyara safaris offers many unique views including elephant, giraffe, buffalo and wildebeest can be found grazing in unexpected clearings or heading towards the water to drink or wash, and the rivers and riverbeds provide scenic vistas for possible animal spotting. Warthog seem to thrive here, growing notably fat and tuskered, and it is a natural playground for baboons and monkeys.
Later in the afternoon, you will proceed with the drive to the Ngorongoro National Conservation Area where you will arrive in time for check in at the Melia Ngorongoro Lodge.

Saturday, August 24th: Ngorongoro National Conservation Area (Crater Tour)
After breakfast, descend into the ‘8th Wonder of the World’, a unique biosphere that has remained virtually unchanged since the dawn of time. This area’s main attraction is the Ngorongoro Crater, fondly known as “Africa’s Garden of Eden”. A candidate for the new Seven Wonders of the World, this massive crater holds its own in that category. Being the world’s largest unbroken caldera, Ngorongoro is home to over 25,000 animals. It is considered one of the best game viewing spots in the world with a chance to see the big five, zebras and wildebeests.
The crater holds almost every individual species of wildlife in East Africa including the extremely rare and critically endangered Black Rhino.
Enjoy a hot bush lunch on the crater floor before climbing back up to the lodge in time for relaxation before dinner.

Sunday, August 25th: Ngorongoro National Conservation Area to Serengeti National Park (Central)
8:00 AM. After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park passing via Olduvai Gorge. Olduvai Gorge is the prehistoric site where Dr. Louis Leakey discovered the remains of Homo habilis ( ’Handy man’ ) regarded as mankind’s first step on the path of human evolution. You then proceed with the drive to arrive at the Serengeti National Park in time for check in and lunch at the Serengeti Tortilis Camp.
You will then spend the afternoon at leisure until around 4 pm when you go for an evening game drive until dusk.

Monday, August 26th: Serengeti National Park (Central)
10:00 AM - Then proceed for a full day of the migration experience in the Serengeti. You will have a picnic lunch in the course of the day.
5:00 PM - Return to Camp
The Serengeti is probably the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world. Within its 15,000 sq km area it hosts 3 million large mammals. More than 35 species of plain animals- zebra, wildebeest, eland, giraffe, and others are found here. And so for the big five: elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard and rhino. The park is the staging zones for one the most spectacular events in the natural world- the annual migration of wildebeest. This commences around June when over 1 million wildebeest, zebra and gazelle head for the Masai Mara in Kenya in search of pasture. They are followed closely by the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures. The Serengeti also has over 500 species of birds.

Tuesday, August 27th: Serengeti National Park (Central to North)
After your breakfast, you will depart for Kogatende, the northern area of the Serengeti National Park, where you will arrive in time for check in and lunch at the Ole Serai Luxury Camp – Kogatende. There after you will have an evening game drive until dusk when you return to your camp.
This Luxury Camp is strategically located within the northern (Kogatende) area of the famous Serengeti National Park in Tanzania and is set amidst the most prime areas of the Serengeti following the path of the great migration, sparsely inhabited by large Acacia as well as Tortilis Tree’s and is home to several species of wildlife that reside in this area year round due to catchments of water bodies around the area.
Due to the Campsite’s ideal location, the great spectacle of the world-famous annual migration can be witnessed almost as close as to the camp’s doorsteps – since the site lies along one of the main migratory corridors/routes, which the wildebeest use during their Great Migration going to and fro the North and South of the Serengeti.

Friday, August 30th: Serengeti National Park (North) - Fly to Zanzibar
After your breakfast, you will check out of your camp and transfer with a brief final game drive enroute to the Kogatende airstrip where you will catch your domestic flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at the Zanzibar airport, you will be met by another of our representatives who will transfer you to the Breezes Beach Club.
Breezes Beach Club & Spa has a laid-back, beachy, semi-romantic ambience with plenty of modestly elegant touches. Decor is consistent throughout the hotel, with suspended brass lanterns adding an Arabesque look to rooms and common spaces alongside dark-wood furniture with muted gold and neutral-toned upholstery. The large lobby is made up of multiple open-air rooms with Makuti roofs, interconnected by long covered passageways. Multiple seating areas feature locally handmade wooden furniture situated in clusters under still more suspended brass lanterns. The grounds are green and full of well-manicured gardens with tropical plants and trees, cut through by paved pathways. Zanzibar Island, whose local name is Unguja, is one of two main islands that make up the semi-autonomous state of Zanzibar. It is a partner state in the United Republic of Tanzania, the largest country in the east coast of Africa. Zanzibar is located in the Indian Ocean, about 35 km off the coast of mainland Tanzania, at Longitude 39 degrees East and Latitude 6 degrees south of the Equator. The highest point of the island is 150 meters above sea level. The Island's capital, also known as Zanzibar, is one of the oldest cities in Africa and boasts of a World Heritage Site in its collection of some of Africa's most valuable ancient architecture. It was established and for centuries ruled by Omani Sultans who reigned supreme in the east coast of Africa before the Portuguese and later the British came calling.
