Through Ashdod, the gateway to the Holy Land you’ll get the chance to visit Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus and ofcourse Jerusalem, where Muslim, Christian, Jewish and Armenian quarters each add their own spice to this spiritual place. Moreover, we introduce you to Limassol and Pafos in Cyprus where you’ll be surrounded by acres of history as you discover historic gems such as medieval baths and catacombs. Our itinerary also includes your all time classic Kusadasi in Turkey and Ancient Ephesus, one of Europe’s largest open-air archaeological museums. Last but not least, for the medieval history lovers we have the island of Rhodes, which is well known for the site of the Acropolis of Lindos, and for its Medieval Old Town.

At the northern end of Egypt's iconic Suez Canal, the city of Port Said evokes an entrancing air of nostalgia. It boasts a raised pedestrian boardwalk that runs along the scenic waterfront, offering fabulous views of the canal entry point. The surrounding late 19th-century buildings and properties flaunt a certain charm that magically transports you to a bygone era.

Ashdod (Israel)

Today is a fleeting visit to the Holy Land. Diverse, modern-day Ashdod covers the land of two ancient twin towns, it’s the largest port in Israel and one of the oldest cities in the world. It was inhabited by the Philistines in Biblical times and when they captured the Ark of the Covenant from the Israelites, they brought it here (although they had to give it back.) Ashdod is only 33 miles from historic Jerusalem so a trip to see the Temple Mount, Dome of the Rock, the Wailing Wall, Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Via Dolorosa and more of the most celebrated sites and buildings anywhere, can be arranged.

Limassol (Cyprus)

This bustling tourist center is the heart and hub of Cyprus. It is full of character and history. The centuries-old Limassol Castle, home to the Cyprus Medieval Museum and its collection of pottery and tombstones. A short drive away is iconic Aphrodite’s Rock and the striking Crusader castle at Kolossi. The centre of Limassol buzzes with cafes, bars and restaurants that are popular with locals and visitors.

Rhodes (Greece)

The island of Rhodes is home to the iconic Acropolis at Lindos. And, it is has been said that the Colossus of Rhodes, the third of the Seven Wonders, once bestrode the harbour here. Take in the lovely Old Town with its maze of cobbled streets reminiscent of the Byzantine Empire.

Kusadasi (Turkey)

The historically significant Turkish city of Kusadasi offers an exploration of the Hellenistic ruins of Ephesus, famed for the fourth of our Seven Wonders, the Temple of Artemis. Before re-boarding the ship, browse the stalls for souvenirs and handicrafts along the Grand Bazaar near the harbour.
